I got my professional start in photography at a local Sears portrait studio in 2012 but always knew I preferred capturing people in more natural and exciting environments. My interest in photography began mid high school when I would find any excuse to use photography in any project I was assigned. I would offer family and friends photoshoots to test out my skills and my parents, friends and now husband were always extremely supportive in this passion of mine.

Over the years I’ve honed my skills to focus on my favourite things to shoot: families, business branding, boudoir, product photography and for the last few years… weddings! I’ve been lucky enough to shoot countless rad couples in love, beautiful families, beautiful women that want to celebrate their bodies and amazing small business owners, some I’m lucky to call friends.

When I’m not working:

I’m chasing around my two adventurous daughters in our hometown or a rented Airbnb that we make our “home for the week”, raising butterflies June – October, cuddling with my dog Sookie (if you know what inspired the name, let’s be friends), checking out craft breweries with my husband, spending time with my best friends or reading. I read a LOT.

I live for supporting local and exploring all the amazing small business in the Windsor-Essex community. I have helped a lot of those businesses elevate their marketing and social media pages by offering branding and product photography. It never gets old seeing my work in a local magazine, on their businesses website or when I see them use their images for advertising.
